Winnipeg Music & Piano Lessons

Terri Myers has been a certified Music For Young Children educator in Winnipeg since 1986, winning awards for her compositions and taking a leading role in the development of the curriculum of piano lessons in Winnipeg.

In 2005, Terri became a Licensed Centre Director for  Music Together in Winnipeg and is the first to bring this enriching, fun-filled, family-oriented program to Manitoba.

Terri has won numerous awards, taught thousands of children and had hundreds of students go on to win awards and become accomplished musicians!

Music Together®
​Classes

Music Together® is an innovative music and movement program for newborn and toddlers, to age five and their parents and caregivers, It is based on the belief  that all children are inherently musical.

​Originally offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum  that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music learned early affects a person for a lifetime!

Music for Young Children

MYC® builds a solid foundation of understanding and enjoyment of music. Singing together creates a special bond. Keyboard playing and rhythm ensembles nurture team skills. Creative movement develops individual expressiveness.

​Music reading and theory are reinforced with group activities and with color, hands-on materials Composing integrates aural and written skills and gives children a sense of ownership.​

Private Piano Lessons

​I am proud to offer private piano and theory lessons.  Students learn at their own pace working on their favourite genres of music.  Royal Conservatory examinations are offered up to Grade 8 Piano and Advanced Theory.

Many students enjoy playing popular repertoire and learning how to accompany themselves while singing.

​We are pleased to announce that many students have received 100% in their theory exams and First Class Distinction for their piano exams.
