Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls

I am pleased to announce the release of our 2021 Spring Recital called “Compose Yourself.” 

​We have taken excerpts from the musical  “Compose Yourself,” and I am pleased to announce that almost all of the Music for Young Children students submitted compositions to the annual festival. I was very impressed and amazed by their creativity and dedication to the task. Also, we featured a famous composer every week and had “scavenger hunts” around our homes for things those composers may have left behind. Lol! I must say we now know some very humorous and interesting details of the great composer’s lives as well as appreciate their beautiful music!

Thank you parents and students for your consistent, continual and unending support this year! We did the entire year using Zoom! A first for sure, and an accomplishment that I never would have thought could have been so successful if you had asked me last year at this time!  Using the Zoom platform has not deterred one student from continuing in the fall. Congratulations to you all! 

Everyone has 2 Recital Buddies this year. It will be easy to find your buddy since the minutes are documented on the program. Thank you for encouraging each other. It’s an awesome life long skill to develop!

I had fun putting together the WECOME SONG and the SLIDESHOW! Your photos were delightful and they show your interests and personalities in a special way. I was blessed to see how you all performed so graciously and magnificently! Your performances truly are enchanting!
